With a $100 budget from the Habitat for Humanity ReStore, the assembly and presentation of this structure took place over the course of one week in early January. Ceiling tiles and brass pieces were selected to form the structure. Carpet and plywood were used to insulate the floor. By combining the shape of an igloo with that of an arch, the shelter became a hybrid of two typologies. The interior was lined with mirror mylar, a reflective source for heat.
